We’ve searched the internet high and low and have compiled a list of the most creative and fun things you can do the next time you tune into the 2014 Sochi games. Anything we missed? Let us know in the comments!
Medal Count Printable
Keep track of your favorite country’s medal counts throughout the winter games by coloring in the circles on these printables. Great for the kiddos!
Printables found at Create.Craft.Love.
- Gold Poster board from a craft or paper shop
- Red cellophane (tissue paper works too)
- A popsicle stick, old pencil, or broken chopstick
- Hot glue gun
- Heat up your hot glue gun.
- Roll the gold posterboard the long way until you have the shape you like. Hot glue it together.
- Insert a circular piece of paper with a hole in the middle inside the top of the tube. Adhere it with hot glue. This will hold the flame in place.
- Cut two large squares from the cellophane tissue. Lay them flat at different angles.
Winter Games Bingo
This is the classic game we all love, BINGO, only Olympified. Instead of numbers, squares are marked off every time you hear an olympics-themed word. This makes for a great activity for students and young teens.

Easy Olympics Candy Jars
We know you like easy, so here’s another easy one. Take five mason jars, paint the lids blue, black, red, yellow, and green, then fill them with your favorite candy. Make sure the candy’s color matches the jar they are in.
Adult Olympic Ring Martini
This one’s not for the kids, but it’s easy enough to do.
- 1 shot vodka
- 1/2 shot Cointreau
- 1 ounce pineapple juice
- 2 ounces Champagne
Shake vodka, Cointreau and pineapple juice with ice. Strain into martini glass. Top off with champagne. Add Olympic colored Lifesavers. Voila!
