Here at the QuiBids HQ, we’re always working to make your overall experience with us an enjoyable one. Our team is constantly striving to find the best ways to utilize your feedback to make QuiBids even better. Just look at our recent implementation of Locked Auctions. We added the “Lock” feature to all auctions as a way to prevent jumpers from coming in and making the auction last forever. And even though this is a step in the right direction, we realize that there’s still more that can be done to level the playing field for all bidders on our site.
So what’s next?
Next, we’d like to tackle a concern that we’ve been hearing a lot about recently. We’ve received numerous comments from bidders wanting stricter limits on the number of times one can win Voucher Bids Auctions in a day, also known as Voucher Limits.
Why change the Voucher Limits?
We’ve noticed an increasingly smaller number of bidders winning a majority of the larger Voucher Auctions on our site. When this happens, these bidders can stock up on bids and become extremely hard to compete against in other auctions. As they begin winning more and more, their reputation grows, further increasing their wins. We don’t like this because in general it means less people are winning, and where’s the fun in that? Our hope is that by changing the Voucher Limits, more bidders will be seeing the words “YOU WON!” popping up on their computer screens more frequently.
So what are the new Voucher Limits?
Previously, bidders were simply limited to 12 total auction wins per day, which includes Voucher Auctions of any denomination. However starting November 19, 2013, if you decide to bid on a Voucher auction, you will have the following additional limits*:
One (1) 250 Voucher Bids auction win per day
Two (2) 100 Voucher Bids auction wins per day.
One (1) 500 Voucher Bids Auction win per 7 days.
- One (1) 1000 Voucher Bids Auction win per 7 days.
So what do you think about the updated Voucher Limits? Tell us your thoughts in the comments!
