How long have you been bidding on QuiBids?
“I joined QuiBids in mid-December of 2012, but did not start participating in auctions until the beginning of March. I had first heard of QuiBids on television and saw that it was approved by the BBB. When I first joined, I did so skeptically while wanting to learn more. I took a few months watching and reading as much as I could before jumping in. After watching for a while I quickly realized that all of the great things I’d heard about QuiBids were true.”
Tell us about a recent QuiBids win.
“My favorite win so far was a Shark Steam Pocket Mop. I used 1 Real Bid and 1 Voucher Bid – 2 bids total – and was thrilled as I watched the timer count down and the auction ended at $0.37. I saved $79.02 – a total of 99%! Best of all, I love my steam mop and use it every day. Oh, and I also received a game play on that win too.”
Have you ever given your QuiBids win as a gift to someone else?
“I have 2 wins right now that I will be giving away as gifts. The first win I will be giving out is an iPad Activity Tray that I will give to my daughter for her birthday (won with 17 bids, .50). Then I also have a Coleman Lantern that I will give to my Dad for his birthday (7 bids, .83). I have also received several other items that I have given out already.”
Do you use Buy Now?
“Yes, yes, yes! I love the Buy Now option. Of course it’s great to win, but we can’t all win every auction. Using the Buy Now option lets me have my fun without the risk of losing money. The question has been asked before of when do you use Real Bids vs. Voucher Bids. For me I prefer to use real bids on items I want and am willing to use Buy Now on. I save my voucher bids for auctions that are a little riskier and to use just for fun.”
What’s the most bids you’ve ever won from a QuiBids Gameplay?
“Deal Wheel is my favorite game. I have had as little as 8 bids won on that game, but I usually win an average of about 60. My best win on any game was on Deal Wheel and I totaled a win of 96 Bids!”
What advice would you like to give to a new QuiBidder just starting out?
“As I said, I watched and learned as much as I could for two and a half months before I started bidding. You wouldn’t jump into 10 feet of water without learning how to swim first, and this is no different. Read QuiBids 101, watch a lot of auctions, get to know some of the bidders you see and how they bid, and read through the posts on the Facebook page. If you have any questions ask away on Facebook. We love helping people out and answering any questions they may have. QuiBids is there too, and yes they do read the posts and answer questions. So even if you ask a question that your fellow Quibidders don’t know the answer to, it is almost guaranteed that someone from QuiBids will be there to answer you.”
Anything else you’d like to add?
“I love the deals I get on QuiBids! My plan was to use QuiBids for Christmas shopping last year, but I joined too late to learn the ins and outs and still have time to do my shopping. I can not wait for Christmas to come this year, I will be giving out some great gifts. If you plan to use QuiBids, join now and don’t wait. It does take time to learn how it all works.”
