Congratulations to Wendi M. on being selected as QuiBidder of the Week for the second time! Wendi is another valuable contributor to the QuiBids Facebook community. If you’re on Facebook, be sure to stop by our page and say hi to the wonderful people there.
What’s the most fun you’ve ever had while bidding?
“I’d have to say [I have the most fun] on the auctions where I’ve won a big item after really having to battle it out. I’ve had some great wins with just a few bids, but the auctions where I have to single-bid, use the Bid-O-Matic, bid aggressively, then back off-and count my bids are where I have the most fun outwitting and outbidding other bidders.”
Have you ever given your QuiBids win as a gift to someone else?
“Yes I have. I have made some truly great Facebook friends with fellow QuiBidders. One of them really wanted a GolfBuddy GPS, so I messaged her for her address and sent it to her! Another QuiBids friend wanted a toy bow and arrow for his young son, so I sent that to him as well with some free Vouchers Bids I used. I love being able to give gifts that I won on QuiBids. On another hand, I have used QuiBids wins for rewarding my clients for their loyalty (gift cards), used prizes for my sons ‘After-Prom,’ and I’ve also given my wins away at various charity events.”
Have you ever bought something from the QuiBids Store??
“Nope — I like to take my chances with bidding and hopefully get the potential win!”
What’s the most bids you’ve ever won from a QuiBids Gameplay?
“I love Word Scramble. I believe the most bids I’ve won at once is 78.”
Other than bidding in auctions, what’s your favorite thing about QuiBids?
“I love the games and I love the Facebook page. I have made a lot of great friends around the country and even around the world!”
What advice would you like to give to a new QuiBidder just starting out?
“Timing. It is the #1 strategy, in addition to differentiating between the strong bidders and the rookie bidders. I know that certain bidders, by name, will be tough. I also look for the number of bidders in the auctions I’m interested in. I ONLY bid on auctions now for something I’m willing to go all the way to Buy Now on, so if someone joins one of my auctions … be prepared to go all the way!”
Anything else you’d like to add?
“I love QuiBids! You can save lots of money and have fun while doing it!”
Thanks again Wendi for sharing your experiences with us! Do you want to tell us your QuiBids story too and become the next QuiBidder of the Week and win a $50 gift card of your choice? Then go here to submit your story and photo. Happy bidding!
